ד”ר פינשטיין, רופאה בכירה בבית החולים שיבא,מומחית בגינקולוגיה ומיילדות ובתחום קולפוסקופיה וצוואר הרחם.
היא מוסמכת כמומחית בגינקולוגיה וומיילדות בישראל ובארצות הברית, ועוסקת במעקבי הריון, גינקולוגיה כללית, כולל אולטרה סאונד, אי סדירות במחזור, אמצעי מניעה כולל התקנים וכן בתחום של קולפוסקופיה וולווסקופיה.
היא סיימה את לימודי הרפואה בבית ספר לרפואה הדסה בירושלים בשנת 1997 ואת שנת הסטאז בבית חולים שיבא בתל השומר.
היא התמחתה בגינקולוגיה ומיילדות בניו יורק במרכז הרפואי של אוניברסיטת ניו יורק (SUNY DOWNSTATE) ובמרכז הרפואי ברוקדייל ( Brookdale University hospital )
במהלך ההתמחות ד”ר פינשטיין השתתפה בתכנית ייעודית למתמחים בתחום גינקולוגיה אונקולוגית, במרכז סלואן קייטרינג לחקר הסרטן, בניו יורק.
עם סיום ההתמחות עבדה כרופאה בכירה במרכז הרפואי אלברט איינשטיין שבמדינת ניו יורק , ושם החזיקה גם במשרת הוראה והדריכה סטודנטים ומתמחים.
בעשר השנים האחרונות, ד״ר פינשטיין מתגוררת בישראל ועובדת כרופאה בכירה בגינקולוגיה ומיילדות עם התמחות בקולפוסקופיה ופתולוגיה של צוואר הרחם, בבית חולים שיבא, ובשירותי הבריאות של מכבי וקופת החולים לאומית.
היא דוברת אנגלית ועברית.
Shira Feinstein, MD is an American Board Certified Obstetritian and Gynecologist. She received her medical degree from Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School in 1997 and completed a rotating internship at Sheba Medical Center . Dr. Feinstein completed her residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in 2004. During her training she also trained at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center as part of the Galloway Fellowship Program.
Upon graduating, she worked as an attending physician at Albert Einstein Medical Center, and as Associate Professor there, trained students and resident as well.
Now residing in Israel, Dr. Feinstein works as a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist and a specialist in colposcopy and cervical pathology at Sheba Medical Center, as well as at Maccabi and Leumit Health Services.
She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, prenatal care, contraception, including iud placement, menstrual irregularities, ultrasound, as well as colposcopy, and cervical and vulvar pathology.
Dr. Feinstein holds board certification in obstetrics and gynecology, both in US and in Israel.
She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is fluent in both English and Hebrew.
